The Startup Ceremony of the First 12.83-meter Semi-autogenous Grinding Ball Testing Machine in China was Held at Iraeta.

2024-12-29

On December 29, 2024, Iraeta successfully held the startup ceremony for the first 12.83-meter semi-autogenous grinding ball testing machine in China. Niu Yugang, the Chairman of Iraeta, Gao Yuhe, the President, Han Zengqiang, the General Manager of Iraeta (Shandong) Grinding Material Co., Ltd., along with some senior executives and employee representatives, participated in the event.

At the beginning of the event, Han Zengqiang gave an introduction to the semi-autogenous grinding ball testing machine project. In recent years, semi-autogenous grinding mills have accounted for an increasingly higher proportion among the production equipment of large-scale mining enterprises. This has been accompanied by a series of changes in production data. And this equipment is capable of fully simulating the key parameters of the operation of a semi-autogenous grinding mill under actual production conditions, thereby optimizing the production process and manufacturing grinding ball products that are more wear-resistant and have excellent performance.

Subsequently, Gao Yuhe delivered a speech. He stated that the successful development of this testing machine marks a new step forward for us in the field of wear-resistant media. In the global mining market, we will address challenges by reducing costs, focusing on high-value-added markets, and creating differentiated technologies and services. He also inspired everyone to take this breakthrough as a new starting point and bravely scale new heights in technology.

Finally, Niu Yugang announced the startup of the machine. He said, "Innovation is the soul of an enterprise's development and the key for us to remain invincible in the fierce market competition. What we are starting is not just a testing machine, but also a new chapter in Iraeta's innovation in the field of wear-resistant material technology. We should keep making breakthroughs and provide higher-quality solutions for global mining customers."

In mining production, steel balls are one of the key elements in ore grinding, and their quality directly affects the output efficiency and costs of mines. According to relevant information, the consumption of wear-resistant media accounts for 30% of the ore grinding costs in mines and has a direct and significant impact on the ore grinding efficiency.

The successful development of the semi-autogenous grinding ball testing machine is another important milestone for Iraeta in strengthening scientific and technological research and deeply engaging in customer service within the field of wear-resistant media. This technology also helps to reduce operating costs, improve resource utilization efficiency and product quality, and in turn, propel the entire industry towards a more environmentally friendly and sustainable development path.
