Iraeta (Jining) Successfully Produces 1Mn18Cr18N Generator Retaining Ring

On 24 December 2025, the 1Mn18Cr18N generator retaining ring was successfully produced at Iraeta’s Jining facility.

Representatives from major power generation groups, equipment manufacturers and partners attended the event, together with Mr Niu Yugang, Chairman of Iraeta, and other company leaders.

They witnessed the production process and celebrated Iraeta’s latest breakthrough in the manufacturing of key core components for energy equipment.

As a critical component for large-scale energy equipment, generator retaining rings have extremely high requirements for material properties, process control and quality stability.

The successful launch of the 1Mn18Cr18N retaining ring represents a key milestone achieved through Iraeta’s continuous investment in high-performance materials, advanced forging technology and quality systems.

It also marks a solid step forward for the company in the field of key components for high-end energy equipment.
