Iraeta Attends 2026 China Wind Energy New Year Symposium

January 24, 2026, the China Wind Energy New Year Symposium was held in Beijing.MS.Zhang Leilei, Vice President of Iraeta and General Manager of the Sales Center, led the team to attend upon invitation.The Iraeta team received two honors awarded by the conference.

As an annual grand gathering in the wind energy industry, the China Wind Energy Spring Tea Party attracted many experts and scholars from industry associations, the wind power industrial chain and research institutes to discuss the direction of high-quality development of China’s wind power industry.

At the event, Qin Haiyan, Secretary-General of the Wind Energy Professional Committee of the Chinese Renewable Energy Society, highlighted Iraeta’s newly introduced world’s largest 22,000-ton free forging press and 22-meter ring and shell rolling machine, and highly recognized its strong equipment and manufacturing capabilities in the field of super-large wind power core component manufacturing.

As an important participant in the global wind power market, Iraeta has established strong equipment and delivery capabilities through its two manufacturing bases in China and Spain.

Currently, Iraeta can provide various products such as wind power tower flanges, pile flanges, yaw, pitch and gearbox forgings, installation vessel slewing bearings, driving rings and pile driver forgings, building a comprehensive supply system for wind power flanges.

In the offshore wind power field, Iraeta has deeply participated in the construction of a large number of offshore wind farms around the world.In 2025 alone, Iraeta provided key components for many large-megawatt models, including CSSC Haizhuang 25MW, Mingyang 18MW and Vestas 15MW.

Behind the impressive achievements is Iraeta’s continuous investment in innovation, R&D and equipment upgrading.To further consolidate the industrial foundation, Iraeta has invested 1.1 billion yuan to build the Core Components Division for Super-large Equipment。

It has introduced the world’s largest 22,000-ton free forging press and the world’s largest ring rolling mill (22 meters in diameter and 5 meters in height).

Together with the existing 13,500-ton-16-meter ring rolling production line, it has formed a pattern of “two giant production lines running in parallel”, effectively solving the capacity guarantee and delivery flexibility issues that customers focus on, and can fully meet the ring forging needs of the next-generation offshore wind power industrial chain.
