Delegation From ADEGI Visits Iraeta to Deepen China-Spain Win-Win Cooperation

From February 25 to 27, 2026, ADEGI (Asociación de Empresas de Gipuzkoa) from the Basque Country, Spain, came to China to carry out economic and trade exchange activities.

The delegation included Ms. Isabel Busto, President of ADEGI, Mr. Jose Miguel Ayerza , General Manager, Mr. Paul Liceaga, Deputy General Manager, and Mr. Patxi Zazurca, Director of Innovation and Competitiveness.

The ADEGI visited Iraeta Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. They toured various business divisions of the company, with a special focus on the Key Components of Mega Equipment Business Unit.

Gipuzkoa is a major industrial province in Spain’s Basque Country with a highly developed economy and strong industrial foundation. Iraeta operates an advanced manufacturing base, FIHI, in the Basque Country.

As an important member of ADEGI, FIHI has more than 60 years of forging experience and holds a key position in the European wind power market, providing strong support for Iraeta’s global business expansion.

During the visit, Mr. Niu Yugang, Chairman of Iraeta, introduced the company’s innovative achievements, industrial layout and 1 future plans. The delegation spoke highly of Iraeta’s technical strength, production scale and future development.

Ms. Isabel Busto stated that the visit left a deep impression, especially Iraeta’s technological innovation in clean energy. She expressed hope for closer exchanges and deeper cooperation between both sides to achieve win-win results.

This event has strengthened exchanges between both sides on industrial technological innovation and green energy development, and laid a solid foundation for long-term cooperation in the future.
