The Manufacturer of the "Internet-Famous Magic Ring" with a Diameter of 15.673 Meters

In the nuclear power sector, we hold the global production record for hot-state forged rings with a diameter of 16 meters. In 2019 and 2022, despite significant technical hurdles and R&D risks, our collaboration with teams from the China Institute of Atomic Energy and the Institute of Metal Research (IMR) achieved a breakthrough. Using metal construction and near-net-shape forming technologies, we pioneered a solution to the worldwide challenge of producing 220-ton-grade 316 stainless steel billets with ultra-purity and homogeneity. This innovation enabled us to manufacture four seamless, one-piece austenitic stainless steel forged rings—each with a diameter of 15.673 meters—for China’s fourth-generation nuclear power projects, setting a new global benchmark.
