Iraeta Attends Spanish National Day Reception in Beijing

On October 9, 2026, Iraeta’s Executive Director of Strategy & Business Development, Jin Hong Niu, and Deputy General Manager of the Sales Center, Li Liu, attended the Spanish National Day Reception hosted by the Embassy of Spain in China. The event brought together guests from China, Spain and beyond to celebrate the occasion and connect across business and cultural communities.

Spanish Ambassador to China Marta Betanzos Roig and embassy staff warmly welcomed the guests. Spanish cuisine, music and wine brought a distinctive Iberian touch to the reception, creating a relaxed setting for conversation and cultural exchange. Guests also celebrated the achievements of Spain’s men’s and women’s national football teams at the World Cup.

Iraeta draws on the complementary industrial strengths of China and Spain to support its international operations, manufacturing critical components for the global energy equipment sector and other industries. In 2023, Iraeta was designated a China–Spain Innovation Demonstration Site for Clean Energy and Deep-Sea Engineering Equipment, reflecting its ongoing efforts to promote industrial exchange and cooperation between the two countries.

In September 2025, Ambassador Betanzos Roig visited Iraeta to attend the launch of its Super-Large Equipment Core Components Business Unit. During the visit, she encouraged further cooperation between China and Spain in areas such as wind energy and marine engineering.
